It’s all wrong, the witch said, closing the book.
The woods were made from breadcrumbs. Those two little brats left leaves to guide them home.
Gingerbread house? No, it was three houses, all made from pig bones.
The three porridge monsters feasted on bears, the little one being just the right amount of fur and flesh.
The giant ate beans and had beanstalks for legs.
The wolf wore red and was chased through the woods by a little girl with an ax who wore the pelts of the elderly.
Before they write these books they should really check their facts.

Another masterpiece inspired by the prompt from the brilliant Madison Woods.

Ha ha ha! If only! The wrong is from the witch’s point of view. A good take on the prompt. Mine is here: http://readinpleasure.wordpress.com/2012/06/15/fridayfictioneers-sacrilege/
